Hello hello,

I guess I should write something interesting here about why I decided to start blogging and a little bit about what I do outside the realms of the internet... so here goes nothing.

The title of my blog is pretty self-explanatory - my name is Imogen, though most people call me Immy or Im, so take your pick. And I love words - reading them, writing them, learning new ones, understanding where they begin and end, the lot. Language is fascinating.

At the moment I work at Lush - the very nice smelling cosmetics shop. This means I don't have to wear perfume because everything I own smells of Lush. However it does mean I spend a ridiculous amount of money on soap and things to make my baths bubbly. It's fun, and I work with some bloody lovely people who make life feel a little lighter. 

As you'll see from the blog I like running (more often than not). Sometimes it's a struggle but deep down in my bones I enjoy it. I do most of the usual things people my age like to do and my life right now is pretty much about enjoying my twenties and trying to find a sense of purpose in the little things each day.
